Police investigating shooting near Dublin Park

Madison Police responded last night to a shooting in the 800-block of Crestview Drive, just north of Madison Pike and beside Dublin Park.

When police arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the leg. One person was taken in for questioning.

Police secured a 9mm handgun from the scene. They say they believe the shooting may have been a domestic situation.

The victim was taken to Huntsville Hospital in serious condition, but is expected to recover.
