(WAFF) – There’s a lot of attention on Ebola right now, but doctors say your risk for catching flu is much higher.
Starting this week, the Madison County Health Department is offering four flu clinics.
In Huntsville, you can go to the Health Department Annex Building on Max Luther Drive and get your shot.
The clinics are Tuesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
In Madison, you can go to the Madison City Council Chamber on Hughes Road on Wednesday and next Monday from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The shots are free.
In Marshall County, the Emergency Management Agency is holding a flu shot clinic later this month.
It’s scheduled for Oct. 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the ground of the Marshall County Technical School.
Anyone 6 months and older can get a flu shot for $5. If you have Medicaid or Medicare, the shot is free.
