Fund set up to help pay medical bills for student hurt in crash

Bob Jones junior Kaitlyn McGinnis remains in critical condition at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville with severe head injuries suffered in a car accident on Friday, Oct. 19, near Athens.

The 16-year old Kaitlyn and her friend Aubie Cox were in the single car accident when their car left the roadway, flipped and hit a tree. Aubie suffered back injuries, but has been released from the hospital. Kaitlyn remains on life support.

A fund has been established at Redstone Federal in behalf of Kaitlyn to assist the family in the enormous medical bills expected from the injuries. Those wishing to donate money are asked to submit those donations for the Kaitlyn Medical Fund.
