Famous Joe’s Pizzeria in Madison hosting “A Night of Hope” Nov. 13

Famous Joe’s Pizzeria is reaching out to help an area teen who has been diagnosed with acute T-cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma.

On Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 4-10 p.m. Famous Joe’s will be staying open an extra hour to help out 14-year-old MaKenzey Cain.  The popular pizzeria will be donating a large percentage of our sales to help MaKenzey during this crucial time in her life.

“I had the pleasure of meeting my newest hero, MaKenzey Cain, this past June,” said Joe Carlucci, owner of Famous Joe’s Pizzeria. “We all take Life for granted. We complain about the little things in life that bother us. Our main concerns consist of rooting for our favorite sports teams, and calling our favorite “Super Star” our heroes. When in reality we should be thanking God for our health, family and our friends.”

MaKenzey is a freshman at Athens high school where she is a JV cheerleader. She is also a member of the Onyx ALL-Stars Senior Level 5 team where she has cheered for the last eight years.

“All we are asking is for anyone and everyone to come out to Famous Joe’s to show your support,” Carlucci said. “If you cannot attend that night, we will be accepting donations from now until the night of Nov. 13. Anything that you can spare will be very much appreciated.”

If you would like to send in a check, you can make it payable to the MaKenzey Cain family. Please send them to “Famous Joe’s Pizzeria 12120 County Line Rd. Suite A Madison, AL 35756.
