City announces change in the way trash collection is billed

The city of Madison announced last week ta change in the way trash collection will be billed.

Efffective January 2013 the $6.00 trash fee has been transferred from residents’ water bill (Madison Utilities) to their power bill (either Huntsville or Athens Utilities).
