Area concert series ready to bring cool sounds to summer

It’s that time of year again….summer. There may be some sizzling temps during the day, but in the evenings it’s the sweet sounds of summer concerts that sizzle the air. Here are just a few in our area to take advantage of this season. Most are free. Check them out and plan to enjoy the local music flavors of summer.

MADISON GAZEBO CONCERTS

Every Thursday in summer, music fans gather on Front Street in downtown Madison for the Summer Gazebo Concerts. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and relax while you enjoy free, family-friendly entertainment from a wide variety of local acts. A different activity is planned for children each week, and local food like sandwiches, snow cones and tea are always on hand.
So, relax, kick back, find yourself a shady spot and enjoy the idyllic and picturesque charm of Madison while you hear the best music around!

Grab your lawn chairs and come enjoy the County Line Road Concert Series at 6 every Sunday night in June. They will host a variety of bands, food trucks, and fun for the kids. Coolers and pets are welcome. Call a friend and meet your neighbors for a great night of entertainment!

An increasingly popular local tradition, the ten-week Concerts in the Park series highlights local music across many genres, including rock, swing, country, jazz and bluegrass.
These free events take place in beautiful Big Spring International Park in the heart of Downtown Huntsville. Music lovers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or towel and listen to the sounds of great Rocket City musicians as the summer sun wanes above them. Food is on hand thanks to Huntsville’s growing collection of food trucks, which offer cuisine like barbecue, Cajun, ice cream, and so much more.
